On 14th July 2014, Bahrain Bourse launched a new trading platform (X-stream), which replaces the previous ‘Horizon’ trading platform.
The new platform will enable rapid execution and settlement of transactions whilst also enhancing transparency. It will allow the Bourse to open up new trading markets that will enable investors to trade in derivatives, options, future options, and other instruments.
