The Mercado Abierto Electrónico S.A. (MAE) and the Mercado a Término de Buenos Aires S.A. (MATba) have signed an “Operating, technological and commercial Agreement” for their consolidation and expansion, in agreement with the new guidelines set out in the new Capital Markets Law. Under this Convention, both markets will be able to trade products on the integrated platform called the Unified System of Argentinian Markets (SUM). In this way, both markets take an important step towards the interoperability between all markets.
