On 9th September 2016, the Korean Securities Depository (KSD) was granted full membership into the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD). The AECSD unites the CSDs of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, Central Asia nations, and the Eurasian region.
The Association`s mission is to improve CSD activities regarding deposits and settlement in the Eurasian region, and create an environment for a standardised deposit and settlement system.
