Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has amended the Rules of Executing Clearing Activities on Deals in Financial Instruments.

The following regulations have been amended to read as follows:

Article 7(1.1) regarding opening limits of positions now states that the limit for opening positions for a clearing participant is determined in money terms in the national currency, taking into account particular aspects of exchange markets specified in the Rules.

Additionally, Article 24(3) details that the amount of guaranty contribution to the clearing guaranty fund of the currency market makes up KZT 10mn.

With regards to the particulars of the derivatives market as stated in Article 25, the opening limit for positions of a clearing participant is determined depending on the current financial position of a particular clearing participant and is calculated quarterly, not later than the 15th working day of the first month of each calendar quarter.
