On 15th November 2016, the Kazakhstan Central Securities Depository announced that amendments and additions to the Rules of Execution of Depository Activities had been approved by the Board of Directors of the Central Securities Depository. The amendments will become effective 30th November 2016.
The changes relate to implementing the auction on acquisitions of buy-back securities by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the auction on selling of repurchase securities by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the introduction of direct access transactions.
