JAPAN: Testing of improvements to EDINET for Japan major shareholdings notifications

The Japanese FSA has announced that enhancements are being made to EDINET (Electronic Disclosure for Investors’ NETwork), which is the FSA`s reporting website for filing of Reports of Possession of Large Volume (Japan major shareholdings) under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law.

Running tests for Next Generation EDINET will be held between the middle of May, 2013 and July 12, 2013 to provide filers and information users with the opportunity of trying the full processes of filing disclosure documents and getting disclosure information.
