JAPAN: OSE fines Morgan Stanley for breach of Japan Large Holding Reporting Rules

The OSE has fined Morgan Stanley pursuant to Article 178 in connection with a breach of Japan large holding reporting rules, Paragraph 1, No. 7 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act on the grounds that the substantial shareholding rule was not adhered to. A Japan major shareholding disclosure was not made within the prescribed time limit.

The OSE fined Morgan Stanley 756,580,000 Yen ($9,724,970 USD).
