On 29th May, the Japan Securities Depository Centre published the Final Report on the “Study on Shortening the Settlement Period of Stocks.”

The Report states that the shortened settlement cycle for stock trading is to be implemented on  16th July 2019. The cycle will be shortened from T+3   to T + 2 .
