Trading was halted on the Osaka Securities Exchange after due to a software error. This is the first time there has been an outage of J-Gate trading system installed by the NASDAQ OMX Group in 2011. Nikkei 225 Stock Average futures volume plunged more than 90 percent due to the software error. OSE is the only venue in Japan where these instruments are traded.
