ITALY: Temporary prohibition on Italy short selling in Banca Popolare Emilia Romagna sc

The Italian regulator CONSOB has announced a temporary Italy short selling prohibition in BPER shares (ISIN code: IT0000066123) on the MTA, a regulated market organised and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., for the entire trading day of August 8, 2014.

The prohibition does not apply to the activity of market making, as defined by Article 2(1)(k) of the EU Short Selling Regulation.
