ITALY: Prohibition on Italy short selling in BMPS shares

The Italian securities regulator CONSOB has announced a prohibition of short selling in BMPS shares (ISIN code: IT0004984842) on the MTA, a regulated market organised and managed by Borsa Italiana spa, under Article 23 of the EU Short Selling Regulation, taking effect immediately and until the end of the trading day of October 28, 2014.

The above-mentioned prohibition does not apply to the activity of market making, as defined by Article 2(1)(k) of the Regulation.
