ITALY: Lapse of ban on Italy short selling

On 14th September, CONSOB announced the lapse of the ban on Italy short selling of shares in financial institutions introduced on 23rd July 2012. However, existing Italy short-selling disclosure requirements and the prohibition on naked Italy short selling, both introduced in 2011, continue to apply indefinitely.
