ITALY: CONSOB announces Italy short selling ban in Fiat shares

Consob has announced a temporary ban on Italy short selling in the shares of Fiat (ISIN code: IT0001976403). The prohibition will be in force for the duration of Thursday, May 8, 2014.

The measure will be in force on the MTA market of Borsa Italiana.

The prohibition does not apply to the activity of market making, as defined by Article 2(1)(k) of the EU Short Selling Regulation.
