Consob has amended the regulation pertaining to markets on Borsa Italiana pursuant to Article 63(2) of the Italian Legislative Decree No. 55/98.

The amendments have been made to the following:

  • Revision of the requirement of “sufficient distribution for SMEs”
  • Revision of the requirement of remaining in the Star segment
  • Update on independent auditing
  • Change in the percentage float necessary for admission to the Stock Exchange of REICs (Real Estate Investment Companies)
  • Introduction of the non-executing broker among the categories of participants in the Idem market, Idex segment
  • Methods for executing “cross” trading proposals in the Idem market
