The Irish Funds Association (IFIA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Asset Management Association of China (AMAC) in Beijing.

The agreement promotes closer co-operation and better understanding between the respective industries in China and Ireland. In addition, it encourages and supports greater opportunities for investors and growth for the industries in both countries.

Industry communication, information sharing, and reciprocal relationships are the key highlights in the MOU. This includes an agreement to promote mutual assistance and the exchange of information in all aspects of the asset management industry, covering areas such as regulatory developments, and sound practices to improve investor protection.
