IRELAND: Central Bank publishes 4th Edition of AIFMD Q &amp A

The Central Bank of Ireland has published a fourth edition of AIFMD Questions and Answers, dated 30 September 2013. The document has been published in order to assist in limiting any uncertainty until definitive positions and practices are finalised and provides answers to queries likely to arise in relation to the implementation of the AIFMD.

Amongst other things, the AIFMD Q & A provides guidance in respect of Acronyms used in the legislation, the application process, MiFID authorisations, transitional arrangements and passporting arrangements under the AIFMD.
