On 15th May 2017, the Central Bank published the UCITS QA 17th Edition.  The following new question ID 1076 related to the designated email address for fund management companies is included.

ID 1076

  1. I am a UCITS management company / UCITS self-managed investment company. How should I submit details of my designated email address to the Central Bank?
  2. If you are:
  • a UCITS self-managed investment company: You should submit the details to fundsupervision@centralbank.ie
  • a UCITS management company that is classified as “low impact” under PRISM: You should submit the details to FSPsupervision@centralbank.ie
  • a UCITS management company that is classified as “medium-low impact” or “medium-high impact” under PRISM: You should provide the details to your supervisor.

Designated email addresses are expected to be operational by 30 June 2017. The Central Bank may from time to time conduct tests to check how these are being monitored.
