The Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK) has published regulation No. 20/POJK.04/2016 concerning the licensing of securities companies conducting business as Underwriters and Broker-Dealers.

The new regulation includes amendments to the following areas:

  • Requirements and procedures for the submission of applications for approval;
  • Termination of business licences;
  • Ownership and control;
  • Requirements and documentation required for current and prospective Shareholders;
