INDONESIA: IDX Updates List of Securities Eligible for Short Selling

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announcement No. Peng 00054 / BEI.OPP / 02-2017 has set out additional securities that are to be included in the list, which meet the criteria to be used as collateral and payment for margin transaction or short selling transactions (these include shares used in the calculation of the LQ45 Index, bonds of the Republic of Indonesia and corporate bonds with a minimum rating A+ etc.)

6 Securities have been added to the list of securities eligible for short selling; Darma Henwa Tbk., Intraco Penta Tbk., Jasuindo Tiga Perkasa Tbk., Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk., Nirvana Development Tbk. And Selamat Sempurna Tbk.

1 Security has been removed from the list of eligible securities for short selling; Bank Sinarmas Tbk.

IDX reminds members that offers submitted concerning short selling transactions must comply with the provisions IV.1 and IV.2 Rule Number II H on Requirements and Securities Trading Margin Transactions and Transactions in Short Selling.

The list of securities included in this Announcement came into force on 01 March 2017.
