The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Announcement No. Peng 00 723 / BEI.OPP / 08-2015 has set out additional securities that are to be included in the List of Securities that may be the subject of margin transactions and short selling.
Within this announcement there is:
A list of new shares which one can use as margin securities or in short selling transactions;
The list of shares that can be the subject of short selling transactions;
A list of effects that meet the criteria to be used as collateral and payment for Margin Transaction or Short selling transactions (these include shares included in the calculation of the LQ45 Index, bonds of the Republic of Indonesia and corporate bonds with a minimum rating A+ etc.).
The Exchange reminds Members that offers submitted concerning short selling transactions must comply with the provisions IV.1 and IV.2 Rule Number II H on Requirements and Securities Trading Margin Transactions and Transactions in Short Selling.
The list of securities included in this Announcement came into force on August 4 2015.
