The Reserve Bank of India today notified that The Karur Vysya Bank Limited has agreed to enhance the limit for the purchase of its equity shares and convertible debentures by Foreign Institutional Investors through primary market and stock exchanges, under the Portfolio Investment Scheme up to 35 per cent of its total paid up capital.The Reserve Bank also notified that M/s. Jain Irrigation Systems Limited have agreed to enhance the limit for the purchase of its equity shares and convertible debentures by Foreign Institutional Investors, through primary market and stock exchanges, under the Portfolio Investment Scheme up to 60 per cent of its total paid up capital for India foreign investment.
