It is being reported that the Indian Government is considering allowing India Qualified Foreign Investors to directly invest in the stock market. Under the current regulations only persons with a minimum net worth of $50 Million USD and registered as a sub-account of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) are permitted to directly invest in the stock market.This information will be updated as further details become available.
