The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has reportedly been investigating a technical problem which occurred on the National Stock Exchange’s (NSE) web-based tool  “NOW”.

On 24th May,  NSE witnessed a “disruption” on the tool which allows traders to use their own software and hardware for trading on the bourse.

According to media reports, the software had been temporarily shut down for brokers and sub-brokers due to a technical problem.

The NOW software offers direct connectivity to the NSE for trade execution and data feeds through trading terminals, web-based browsers and mobile devices.
