HONG KONG: Takeover Bulletin guidance on Rule 22 Hong Kong Takeovers Code

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong has published its September issue of the Hong Kong Takeover Bulletin containing news and guidance on dealing disclosures obligations under Rule 22 of the Takeover Code.

It has been announced in the Takeover Bulletin that, from 1 October 2013, disclosures of dealings in relevant securities under Rule 22 will be posted on the HKExnews’ website. The bulletin also sets out guidance on the application of Rule 22 of the Code and issues a reminder to `associates` and, in particular, to fund managers about their obligations in respect of dealing disclosures rules.
