HONG KONG: Revised list of specified shares for Hong Kong short selling position reporting

A revised List of Specified Shares has been published on the SFC’s website, effective 14th December 2012.

From the above date, Kunlun Energy and Greatwall Motor will be added to the list, and BYD Company will be removed.

In addition, the Hong Kong short selling Position Reporting Service will be unavailable during the public holidays on 25 and 26 December 2012 due to scheduled system maintenance. Please be reminded that the reporting deadline for reporting day 21 December 2012 must be within 2 business days, i.e. no later than 27 December 2012.
