The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (HKEX), have published its frequently asked questions (FAQs) for its prospective applicants established under its internal regulations the Main Board Listing Rules ( Chapters 8A,18A and 19C). In April the Exchange introduced its New Chapters to increase Hong Kong’s listing regime for companies in emerging and innovative sectors.
Due to the fact that the expanded listing rules have only been introduced recently it is important that the exchange provides answers to some of the frequently asked questions with the aim to assist potential listing applicants and their advisors.
The FAQs are available on the HKEX website. They should be read in conjunction with other guidance materials (in particular, HKEX-GL92-18, GL93-18 and GL94-18) and the New Chapters.
